The Duke Raleigh Hospital Guild, chartered in 2005, was created in order to support and enhance the care of the hospital’s patients, their loved ones, and our surrounding community. We are a group of volunteer members that are dedicated to supporting Duke Raleigh’s mission and vision through a number of projects and initiatives. Whether it’s patient support, community outreach, or education – we are committed to being positive and knowledgeable ambassadors on behalf of the hospital.
Duke Raleigh Hospital Patient Advisory Council (PAC)
Duke Raleigh Hospital has two Patient Advisory Councils (PACs) made up of former patients, their loved ones, and community members. Both the PAC and the Oncology PAC (OPAC) work on initiatives to improve the patient and family experience, providing a unique perspective on issues that impact care and ensuring that the next patient or family member's journey is easier. The PAC focuses on hospital-wide improvement, and the OPAC focuses on Wake County oncology services.
