Register for the Duke Caregiver Community Event

Registration is free and required. After you register, you will receive an email a few days before the event. It will explain how to log in to hear the presentations and access the content.

Virtual Conference Specifics

When is the conference?
The Duke Caregiver Support Community Event will be held on a virtual platform from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on October 26, 2021. 

Does the conference cost money?
No. Conference attendance is free. However, we require all participants to register using this link. Registration provides access to all presentations and materials -- you do not register for individual sessions.

How do I attend?
The conference will take place on a virtual platform that you can access on your computer or mobile device. You will receive an email a few days before the conference with all the details you need to log in on October 26, 2021. You will use the email address you registered with to access the conference materials.

How do I register?
Use this link to register for the conference. Registration is free, and attendance is open to all who wish to participate.

Do I preregister for the sessions I wish to attend?
No. You do not register in advance for the sessions.

Can several people log on to the virtual conference at the same time? 
Our virtual platform will only allow one person per registrant email to attend at a time. Each family member is encouraged to register for the free conference. There is no attendance limit.

What should I do if I registered but haven't received a confirmation email?
Please check your spam folder. If it's not there email dukecaregivercommunityevent@duke.edu.

What web browser should I use?
You can use any web browser (such as Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox). However, we recommend that you use Google Chrome and enable Flash for the best connection.

What type of computer or device do I need for the conference?
You will have the best experience on a desktop computer or laptop computer. However, you can use a mobile device such as a tablet or mobile phone as well. 
 
Is the conference accessible to both PC and MAC users?
Yes.

Is there a conference app for mobile devices? 
No. You can access the event through any web browser. We recommend Google Chrome for the best performance.

Conference Material Questions

Will I have access to the sessions after the event is over?
Yes. The conference content will remain available through May 2022.

Will presentations be available in Spanish?
Yes. All online sessions on the event platform will be translated into Spanish.

Are contact/continuing education hours available? 
No.
