ABOUT ME

One of the main things I like about electrophysiology is fixing heart rhythm problems. I love it when patients are rid of a problem that they have had for a long time, and I can tell them they are cured. They can go do whatever they want and don’t have to worry about seeing a cardiologist again. A patient with a rapid heartbeat I’ve been seeing for about 10 years finally decided she wanted to have an ablation procedure. We talked about that a lot. She was very nervous. Finally, she decided to move ahead with the procedure. It only took about 90 minutes, and she was cured. She was very happy and couldn't believe that it was really gone. I practice exclusively at Triangle Heart Associates and Duke Regional Hospital, which provides easy and convenient access for patients.
