About Me
I am an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Most of my patients are active and are unable to participate in the activities they enjoy. I treat patients of all ages with shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle pain. This includes young athletes with ACL injuries, shoulder dislocations, or hip impingement; middle-aged patients with rotator cuff tears or meniscus injuries; and older patients with shoulder arthritis. I also treat patients with a variety of fractures. My goal is to ensure that each patient has an excellent experience throughout their care. My treatment philosophy involves truly listening to each patient and understanding their goals for care. This allows us to make a joint decision regarding the best treatment, whether that involves surgery or non-surgical options. I spend most of my free time with my wife and daughter. I enjoy playing a variety of sports, staying active, and traveling.

Clinical Focus and Research
My research interests include the use of orthobiologics, such as stem cells and PRP, to treat various orthopaedic conditions. This is an area that has become popular without very much supporting data. I hope my work in this area will help us understand when these therapies can truly help patients.
