About Me

I love being a health care provider. I get the most enjoyment and satisfaction when I am able to figure out a difficult diagnosis or ease a patient's pain. I enjoy helping others any way I can, in any phase of life. I feel that being a nurse practitioner is God's calling for my life, and I do the best I can to do honor to the calling. I always try to treat everyone as I would like to be treated. I love getting to know my patients on a more personal level. That way, I can treat them with the individualized care everyone deserves. Everyone is different in their backgrounds, needs, and wishes. I try very hard to be respectful of that. I have three daughters and one stepdaughter. When not working, I enjoy reading, home improvement projects, beach trips, and river tubing with my husband and friends.

Ratings and Reviews

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
