Profile
ABOUT ME

I began working  at Duke in 1980 when the department was much smaller than it is today. My early years at Duke were spent in the Acute Care Physical Therapy clinic, but for the past several years I have only been serving an adult outpatient population. My focus is on treating musculoskeletal pain including neck and back, osteoporosis physical therapy intervention, and providing aquatic physical therapy services. I received specialized training in November 2013 to be able to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations. I see all my patients at the Lenox Baker facility which is still has the name of "Lenox Baker Children's Hospital." I work only with adult clients but still enjoy a pediatric experience of serving as a counselor for the Duke Camp Kaleidoscope program. I've enjoyed this week long experience for most summers since 2002. I continue to be active as a Girl Scout leader and have been a Girl Scout volunteer in Durham since 1994.
