About Me
I am a family nurse practitioner and women's health practitioner. I see women from the teenage years all the way to menopause. I see patients for a variety of reasons: first periods, birth control, preconception, trying to get pregnant, menopause, and more. I know that it is uncomfortable being in an OB-GYN office, so when I first go into the room, I like to talk to the patient about who they are and why they are here. I like us to get to know one another before we talk about the OB-GYN issues. Everyone has their own story and a reason for why they make the choices they do, and it’s fun to talk to people about that. Duke Health is very innovative and up-to-date and is constantly learning. You can be sure you get the best care when you come here.
