About Me

As a member of the Duke Cancer Network family, I look forward to providing compassionate cancer care to the community. My diverse work experience in rural and urban settings in the United States and India had provided me with a unique outlook that enables me to deliver the best possible health care. Though I treat all patients in need of hematology and oncology care, I have developed a special interest in treating those with breast and colon cancers. My interest in the medical field started at the tender age of 12 and grew from there. My goal has always been to make the lives of people around me better and taking up this profession has made me able to do that. As a Duke physician, I am confident that my patients will be satisfied with the care they receive and I hope to be able connect with each and every one of them. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and traveling.

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher.
