ABOUT ME

I became interested in physical therapy as it gave me a way to help empower others to improve their quality of life and overall well-being. I believe that patient education is one of the most important aspects of physical therapy as it is crucial for patients to understand their condition in order to meet their goals. I am passionate about patient-centered care and enjoy fostering a positive environment for my patients. I find vestibular rehabilitation, treating patients who have dizziness disorders, and working with patients who have chronic pain to be particularly rewarding areas of physical therapy. I moved from Florida to North Carolina to attend the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy program. I enjoyed living in Durham and being a part of the Duke community so much, that after graduation I decided to make it my home. When I am not working, I love to travel and to spend time with my husband and our dog.
