About Me
I have been practicing as a nurse practitioner in Duke Cardiology for over 18 years with a focus on the care and treatment of patients with heart failure. As a long time Duke nurse with experience in acute care and critical care transport, I focus on patient and family-centered care. I practice shared decision making to ensure that the patient is a partner in all aspects of their care and that before decisions are made a variety of treatment options are discussed.
