I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified sex therapist and thanatologist. Rooted with background as a massage therapist, the treatment modalities I trained in address the body as well as the mind. I am trained in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Yoga for Trauma. I view life through the lens of relationships. Throughout our lifespan, we experience changes & challenges and we have to make choices. My philosophy toward behavioral health is that we each possess within ourselves the solutions we need. At times, having the perspective of a professional to partner with you to educate, support and equip you to manage and navigate difficult seasons of life, is instrumental for our well being. Being a sex positive clinician translates to the intersection of humanity, sexuality and physiology. As a trauma informed clinician, my approach with treatment reflects safety, trust, support and empowerment. My thanatology training provides for natural death, grief and bereavement and those of secondary losses, such as the death of a vision, role or identity that can accompany natural death or a situational loss.
