I come from a family in which a majority of my family members are in the medical field. Growing up, I constantly heard stories about how the care they provided their patients left a lasting impact in their patient's lives during the course of their illnesses. I became a nurse and then a nurse practitioner with the hopes of making that same positive impact in those I cared for, as well as their family members. I provide treatment for patients 18 years and older. I take care of acute issues, like the common cold. However, I also manage chronic issues, such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. Additional appointment types I can perform include health maintenance exams, like an annual physical exam or a Medicare Annual Wellness Visit. During these visits, I make sure you are up-to-date on health screenings based on your age and gender. I also keep you current with immunizations based on the most recent recommendations.
