ABOUT ME

I am a nurse practitioner with the Duke Chronic Pain team, specializing in medical management. I coordinate the Intrathecal Pump Program, working closely with our physician interventionists. My personal philosophy in regards to pain treatment is to assist the patient in reaching realistic goals of function with minimal disruption of their everyday lives. Chronic pain is often a life- long burden, but I aspire to keep patients from allowing pain to define their identity as a primary focus. I believe in working with patients and their families to ensure optimal safe practice in managing chronic pain.
