Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy.

Profile
ABOUT ME

I have had a rewarding career as a registered nurse. The mainstay of my career has been in critical care settings, such as the Intensive Care Unit and the Coronary Care Unit. Although working as an RN rewarding, I always wondered what happened to my patients after their short stay in critical care. How was their care being managed? These are the questions that often ran through my mind. I wanted to be able to establish a longer relationship with my patients and continue to be an integral part of their treatment team. Working as a nurse practitioner in the inpatient and outpatient settings has allowed me the opportunity to provide continued care. I enjoy working as a nurse practitioner, specializing in general cardiology. I like being able to provide up-to-date, evidence-based care to my patients. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I enjoy finding new places to dine.
