About Me

I became a nurse practitioner because I want to help people stay healthy and enjoy life to its fullest. I believe that this can happen when patients and providers work together as a team to reach common goals. I look forward to learning about my patients and their families, and forming long-term relationships with them. Office visits are short, so I want to give patients helpful information that they can use at home to feel good and avoid preventable diseases. I was born in Florida, but North Carolina is my home. My wife and I have two young sons. Outside of work, I enjoy running, traveling, and spending time with my family. I am excited to be a part of Duke Primary Care and look forward to helping people achieve their health goals.
