About Me

I work with a world-class team of doctors and nurses to help patients with blood cancers, such as lymphoma and leukemia. Prior to coming to Duke, I practiced in a community cancer center for 15 years in Pennsylvania and served thousands of patients with a variety of cancers, such as breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, etc. My primary responsibilities include cancer evaluation and management, symptom and side effect management, patient and family education and counseling, care coordination with other team providers, and survivorship follow-ups. In caring for my patients, I apply a patient-centered approach by integrating physiological-psychological-social aspects for individual patients. Before coming to the United States, I studied nursing and worked as a nurse in China. Over the years, I have given lectures to oncology nurses in many places in China to share my cancer nursing knowledge and expertise. Outside my work, I enjoy daily walking, yoga, and spending time with my family, friends, and lovely, furry Bichon Frise.

Ratings and Reviews

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy.
