ABOUT ME

My desire to become a physician assistant was sparked early on by my father, a retired Army medic. During high school, my father introduced me to a couple of orthopaedic physician assistants who worked at a military hospital. Inspired, I spent the next summer shadowing these mentors and developed a passion for the profession. Since graduating physician assistant school in 2004, I have practiced in both general orthopaedics and urgent care medicine. I have found that treating patients with various orthopaedic conditions and injuries is extremely fulfilling. It is very rewarding to see patients resume activities they enjoy after completing treatment for their musculoskeletal issue. The most important objective when interacting with patients is taking the time to listen. I take satisfaction in spending the time needed to educate patients on various treatment options and addressing all concerns. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in sports, and traveling.
