About Me
I am a certified physician assistant with over 10 years of experience. Since completing graduate school, I have specialized in gastroenterology, with a particular focus on patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which includes both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
My primary goal is to help my patients achieve the best possible quality of life and empower them to take control of their health, rather than letting their disease or symptoms control them. I find great satisfaction in educating patients about their condition and taking a patient-centered approach when discussing and selecting the most appropriate treatment options. Working alongside the dedicated IBD team, I believe we can accomplish our goals and deliver the best care possible for our patients.
Outside of work, I cherish my time with my husband and two young children. We enjoy taking family bike rides and traveling abroad particularly to France to visit family. I also enjoy reading historical fiction novels, baking gluten-free goodies, and have a passion for hand embroidery as a creative outlet.
