About Me
I initially came into the specialty of cardiology when my grandmother was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I wanted to gain more knowledge on how this disease was managed, so that I could be a great resource for her. In doing so, I found my passion within this specialty of medicine. I enjoy serving patients that are not only living with heart failure, but also those whom have the following heart conditions: irregular heart rhythms, heart attacks, abnormal heart valves, uncontrolled high blood pressure, and those whom have undergone open heart surgery. I strive to maintain a team approach to patient care to ensure that my patients are comfortable with asking questions related to their condition and openly express any concerns that they may have. The patient is the most important member of the health care team. Therefore, we develop a plan of care together that is specifically tailored to their health care needs, as well as their lifestyle.

Ratings and Reviews
The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
