WHERE I PROVIDE CARE
Profile
ABOUT ME

As a primary care sports medicine doctor, I like to think of myself as caring for the exercising individual. I see patients for all kinds of musculoskeletal injuries and pain, including avulsion fractures, concussions, and acute or chronic pain in the knee, shin, ankle, shoulder, or clavicle. I also serve as a consultant in evaluating female athletes' risks for female athlete triad, which includes inadequate caloric intake, abnormal menstruation function, and increased bone density. I enjoy working with younger patients and incorporating their families in understanding what their condition is and getting them involved in the decision-making process about a treatment and how that may impact their goals for their athletic participation. I really enjoy helping an individual heal from a condition so they are able to return to activity, whether that’s participating in a marathon or simply walking up and down stairs without significant pain.
