About Me

I was raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Tampa, Florida, then lived in Oregon for five years. Prior to medical school, I spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in a small hospital in rural Thailand. I came to North Carolina in 1993, and I have lived in Mebane since 1997. My hobbies include riding and maintaining two antique motorcycles. My wife and I have two teenage sons.
