About Me
I am a neurosurgeon with subspecialty training in complex spine surgery. I provide general neurosurgical care as well as comprehensive spine care of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. I chose medicine in general, and neurosurgery in particular, to align my interest in surgical care to improve patient's quality of life. I always strive to provide optimal care, while also continuously learning new ways to provide good outcomes while minimizing complications. I strive to provide professional care with honesty and integrity, and take time to ensure the patient understands my thought process and his or her plan of care.

Ratings and Reviews
The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
