ABOUT ME

My interest in medicine was first sparked in high school when I learned about the musculoskeletal system. The dynamics and intricate details of the human body intrigued me. From there, I chose the field of kinesiology – the study of human body movement. After completing a practicum at an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic, I was certain about becoming a physical therapist. I enjoy the interaction with individuals to helps them physically overcome their limitations and improve their quality of life. It is important for me to approach patients as a whole, not just a specific joint, ache or pain. By doing this, we are able to work together to create a plan that is meaningful to the patient.?In addition to caring for my patients, my interests are in dance, the great outdoors, decorating, baking and spending time with family and friends.
