WHERE I PROVIDE CARE
Profile
ABOUT ME

I am an occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy. I've been working in hand therapy since graduating in 2015. I was motivated to become an occupational therapist because I wanted a career that would challenge my mind and body and allow me to help people on a daily basis. I knew about occupational therapy because of my mother, who is also an occupational therapist. My priorities in working with patients include listening to their concerns and helping them to restore range of motion and strength to their injured hand and upper extremity so that they can return to work, their home life, and the activities that they enjoy. I try to help patients navigate and understand a complex health care system so they can communicate clearly with all members of the health care team and get the best results possible for their injury. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing books, as well as spending time outside in the beautiful Durham area with my boyfriend and two dogs.
