Amanda Assunta Ferri, PA-C
Physician Assistant – Neurosurgery
My role as a physician assistant is to assist the physician in every aspect of the patient’s care before, during, and after surgery. I think it’s very important when working with patients to make sure the line of communication is very open. The more I can allow the patient to speak and guide the conversation, the more that I understand what is going on with them. I believe that this leads to better patient care. In the work I do, the most gratifying thing is the patients. I enjoy the continuity of care, and I like knowing that I helped somebody when they needed it. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and making memories. I’m originally from Pennsylvania.
