How can you best care for your breasts? Are mammograms really necessary? What is breast cancer? Are you at risk? What is life like after breast cancer?

Get answers to these questions and more at a free community education event with Duke’s breast experts on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 8am - 3pm at Duke University Hospital (doors open at 7:30am).

The free event will include interactive information sessions, question and answer panels, education booths, and raffle prizes! Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Tours of the Duke Breast Imaging department will be offered.

Hot topics will include: breast health basics, breast imaging, genetic testing, breast cancer risk assessment and prevention, women’s health, diet/nutrition, breast cancer 101, and more!

Pre-registration is required and will be open until September 20. Space is limited to the first 130 participants. Onsite registration may be available, if space allows (not guaranteed).
There is no fee to participate (event attendance, parking, food, education sessions, and raffle prizes are all included for free).

The event will be held at the Trent Semans Great Hall (address 8 Searle Center Drive, Durham, NC).

Free parking will be available in the Bryan Research Garage, an underground lot on the corner of Research Drive and Coal Pile Drive (address 311 Research Drive, Durham, NC). The Trent Semans Center is located adjacent to the garage. For more information, please email breasthealthinfo@duke.edu.
