How can you best care for your breasts? Are mammograms really necessary? Can you prevent breast cancer? Are you at risk? Get answers to these questions and more at a free community symposium with Duke's breast experts on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Duke University Hospital (doors open at 7:30 a.m.).

The event will include interactive information sessions, question & answer panels, and raffle prizes! Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The event is presented by Invitae Genomics.

Hot topics will include: breast imaging, genetic testing, breast cancer risk assessment, women’s health, diet/nutrition, breast cancer prevention, breast cancer 101, and more!

Tours of the Duke Breast Imaging department will be offered. For more information, please email breasthealthinfo@duke.edu.

Pre-registration is required and will be open August 1 – September 20. Space is limited to the first 130 participants. Scroll down to register. Onsite registration may be available, if space allows (not guaranteed). Spanish interpreters will be available. There is no fee to participate (event attendance, parking, food, education sessions, and raffle prizes are all included for free).
