Breastfeeding and Pumping II (In-Person Event)

Breastfeeding and Pumping II is led by Duke Health lactation consultants and childbirth educators. This interactive, in-person only workshop will help you practice hands-on skills for breastfeeding and pumping success. You will be able to practice:

• Breastfeeding positions for better milk transfer
• Hand-expression
• How to correctly fit your breast pump flanges and use your pump 
• When and how to start pumping if you're returning to work
• Milk storage guidelines

You can get answers to your questions about breastfeeding or pumping-related baby gear. We'll make sure you know where to find community support and resources for your breastfeeding journey.

Participation in Breastfeeding and Pumping I is required to take this class. Participants can take this class co-currently with Breastfeeding and Pumping I, virtually or in-person, or on its own after completion of Breastfeeding and Pumping I.
