LIFT for Healthcare Workers (LIFT-HCW) - Clinical Trial

What is the Purpose of this Study?

We are doing this study to see if the Lift mobile mindfulness app is a feasible way to deal with the stress associated with directly caring for COVID-19 patients.

This app is currently being studied to treat stress in ICU patients, but we think that it may have benefits for nurses who have worked during the COVID-19 pandemic as well.

What is the Condition Being Studied?

Emotional distress in frontline nurses working in COVID-19 units

Who Can Participate in the Study?

-Adults nurses currently working in an adult COVID unit at Duke University Hospital

Age Group
Adults

What is Involved?

If you choose to join this study you will:
-Download the app on your phone
-Complete the mindfulness activities in the app
-Complete 2 surveys on the app- once when you first join the study and again 30 days later
