Veritor Acute Care Protocol (COVID-19) - Clinical Trial

What is the Purpose of this Study?

We are doing this study to collect samples from people diagnosed with or having symptoms of COVID-19.

These swabs will be used in future research to possibly help make new tests for detecting the COVID-19 virus, and/or to make the current tests better.

What is the Condition Being Studied?

BD Specimen Collection for COVID-19

Who Can Participate in the Study?

Adults who have had symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 7 days.

Age Group
Adults

What is Involved?

If you agree to be in this study you will:
-Have 2 nasal swabs
-Have either:
---Nasopharyngeal (upper part of the throat behind your nose);OR
---A oropharyngeal (part of the throat at the back of your mouth) swab collected
