eVisit for Prostate Cancer Survivors - Clinical Trial

What is the Purpose of this Study?

We are doing this study to learn more about whether telehealth visits are a safe and cost effective alternative to in person clinic visits.

This study is important because it may lower the risks involved with coming to the clinic while also being more convenient for patients.

What is the Condition Being Studied?

Prostate Cancer

Who Can Participate in the Study?

Adults, 18+ who have a diagnosis of prostate cancer and have:
-Completed treatment (may include treatment to the pelvis) and are without evidence of active diseae
-Had at least one follow-up visit 3 or more months after treatment completion
-Have an active Duke MyChart account or be willing to use Duke MyChart
-Have internet access

What is Involved?

If you choose to join the study, you will:
-Have virtual (telehealth) doctor visits every 3 months for 1 year instead of in-person visits
-Have one in-person visit at the end of the study
-Get reminders through Duke MyChart to have lab tests done every 3 months
-Talk with your study doctor through Duke MyChart
-Complete surveys about your medical costs and satisfaction with the eVisit program
