What is the Purpose of this Study?
We are doing this study to learn more about the study drug (ZTI-01) and its ability to be a potential antibiotic to be used to treat bacterial lung infections.
What is the Condition Being Studied?
Healthy Volunteers to treat Bacterial Lung Infection
Who Can Participate in the Study?
- Men and Women 18-45
- Are healthy
- Non-smokers
- Do not use medications, with the exception of birth control
What is Involved?
If you choose to join this study, you will:
- Complete 1 outpatient screening visit
- Complete a 3-day inpatient admission to the Duke Early Phase Research Unit
- Have 1 follow-up phone call
