BEACTIVE: Blueberries, Walking, and Health - Clinical Trial
What is the Purpose of this Study?
We are doing this study to learn if you eat blueberries regularly, if it increases the health benefits of exercise in older men and women.
Who Can Participate in the Study?
-Are 60 years old or older
-Exercise less than 150 minutes/ week
What is Involved?
If you choose to join this study, you will:
- Have up to 6 study visits and will be involved in weekly exercise class for 12 weeks
- Be randomized (like the flip of a icon) to get either blueberry powder or placebo powder
- Be asked to complete questionnaires and have different study procedures done
