MIND: Identifying Factors in Age-Related Memory Loss - Clinical Trial

What is the Purpose of this Study?

If you choose to join this study, you will:
- Complete a questionnaire (3 pages)
- Give a stool sample

What is the Condition Being Studied?

Delirium (confusion)

Who Can Participate in the Study?

-Adults over 60
-Previously diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) by a memory disorder specialist
AND
-Healthy children , 3-8 years old

You cannot participate if you have taken antibiotics in the past 6 months.

What is Involved?

We seek to understand why delirium (confusion) after surgery occurs on older adults, particularly those with pre-existing neurodegeneration who are at higher risk.
