LAIV (flu vaccine) for Children with Asthma - Clinical Trial

What is the Purpose of this Study?

We are doing this study to understand which could be a better vaccine for kids with asthma.

What is the Condition Being Studied?

Children with asthma

Who Can Participate in the Study?

Children who are 5 to 17 years old and are taking daily medicine for their asthma.

What is Involved?

If you decide that you would like for your child to be part of this study, your child will:
- Be randomized (like the flip of a coin) to get the nasal mist flu vaccine (LAIV4) or the flu shot
- Have 5 follow-up visits on the phone or over email for about a month and a half
- Have to keep a daily diary to record their temperature and any other changes
