Duke MyChart's New Look Makes It Easier to Manage Your Health

Duke’s electronic health portal, MyChart, has made it easier for you to make appointments, access your test results, and pay bills. Our new look and new features make viewing a portion of your medical record and keeping track of your health simpler at home and on the go.

Easier to Read, Simpler Functionality

The first big change you’ll notice when you sign on is Duke MyChart’s more modern appearance. This new, cleaner look gives you quick access to the information you’re looking for.

Your new home screen features a personalized to-do list with health reminders, unread messages, instructions for upcoming appointments and scheduled tests. Click on each section for more details.

You’ll find quick links to request prescription renewals, view your billing summary, and other MyChart sections in the new icons along the top of every page and in the quick links in the sidebar on the right. Hover over an icon and use the drop-down menus to navigate to the information you need.

The new sidebar on the right side also features links to your doctors. They now appear under the heading “My Health Providers.” Use the envelope icon to send a message, or view an upcoming appointment by clicking on the calendar icon right under the doctor’s name.

Whatever action you want to accomplish, such as scheduling an appointment, now all takes place on one page. The right-hand sidebar summarizes the process as you go.

Use Our Instructional Video Tutorials

Having a lot of information at your fingertips is great if you know how to find it. If you’re ever having trouble, you can use our instructional videos which walk with you through the process. We show you how to sort and filter your information so you can quickly access the test result, appointment, or office visit notes you’re looking for.

More Flexibility in the MyChart Mobile App

If you haven’t downloaded the MyChart Mobile App, it’s time to give it a try. In addition to accessing your health information on the go in a simpler, more attractive environment, you can now track your goals and see all the members of your care team. You can upload photos of you and your family members for your individual profiles. The notification center will notify you of new information in MyChart, upcoming events, and give you easy access to follow-up tasks.
