The Duke Skull Base Surgery Center is the only skull base program in the region that offers comprehensive, multispecialty care with a team of experienced specialists providing coordinated care for skull base tumors.

Physicians in the Skull Base Surgery Center include radiation oncologists, neurotologists, and neurosurgeons who each bring unique, but complementary, skill sets to the treatment process.

Our specialists realize that each patient is unique, and proper treatment requires collaboration between all of the specialties to provide individualized care.

Specialists collaborate to create an individualized treatment plan that takes into account each patient's unique health situation and needs. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that patients receive the most appropriate and effective care.

Our surgical and radiation facilities are unparalleled in the Southeast. Convenient, efficient and effective care is provided in Durham and Raleigh. Patients can select the location that is most convenient for them.

We have dedicated nurse navigators who are the patient's point of contact throughout the whole process from the preoperative stage, through their hospitalization, and following surgery. A navigator is available to answer any questions -- whether scheduling or medical -- and will help coordinate all appointments.
