Duke Physical and Occupational Therapy's highly skilled and trained staff is committed to providing outstanding care for your child in combination with your primary care and specialty care providers, day care, school and community service agencies.

We work closely with your family to address your needs and to incorporate your goals in developing your child’s treatment program to give him or her the greatest opportunity to succeed.

Our physical and occupational therapists specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of congenital, developmental, neuromuscular, skeletal, or acquired disorders that may cause limitations in any of the following areas:

  • Gross motor development
  • Fine motor development
  • Balance and coordination
  • Strength and endurance
  • Eating or feeding
  • Activities of daily living
  • Cognitive processing and attention
  • Sensory processing and integration

Obtain a Referral

Physical therapy and occupational therapy services require a referral and prescription. Some insurance companies also require pre-certification.

Make an Appointment

After a referral or authorization is completed, an appointment can be scheduled by calling 919-684-3730, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
