Duke Otolaryngology -- Head and Neck Surgery’s facial plastic and reconstructive surgery program is a distinct service provided by ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialists at Duke.

Facial reconstructive surgery by ENT specialists is designed to correct facial features changed as a result of cancer, trauma, or disease.

Multidisciplinary, Specialized Care

Advanced reconstructive techniques are used to restore form and function to patients. This is an essential part of the healing process and improves quality of life. Services include:

  • Surgical management of nasal obstruction with functional rhinoplasty
  • Reconstruction following Mohs surgery for facial skin cancers
  • Management of facial paralysis
  • Treatment of facial fractures (cranio-maxillofacial trauma)

Other areas of particular focus include:

  • Brow lift
  • Facelift
  • Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty)
  • Cheek augmentation
  • Genioplasty (Chin Reshaping)
  • Ear pinning (Otoplasty)
  • Botox / dysport injections
  • Facial fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane)
  • Laser skin resurfacing

Duke’s facial plastic surgeons ensure that their patients receive a balanced and natural appearance.
