Each year 20 percent of Americans suffer from allergies and asthma related problems. Although many suffer during the high-pollen seasons in spring and summer months, allergies can affect people all year long.

Besides nasal congestion and sinus problems, allergies can be associated with nasal polyps, sleep disturbances, asthma attacks, and repeated sinus infections.

Duke’s team of experts -- OHNS surgeons, pulmonary physicians, and specialists with Duke’s Asthma and Allergy Center -- all work together to provide the most current preventive and treatment protocols for patients who suffer from allergies, asthma, and airway disease.
