Meningiomas are non-cancerous (benign) tumors that grow from the covering around the brain.

Meningiomas are slow-growing tumors but they can grow to a size that causes a variety of symptoms, including problems with hearing, balance, and vision.
Meningiomas often require surgery to remove them. These surgeries are often performed by the skull base team which is made up of neurotologists, David Kaylie, MD, or Debara Tucci, MD, and neurosurgeons.
