Special services offered in our nursery include high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, hypothermia for perinatal asphyxia, and comprehensive neonatal health care. Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is available.
In addition, research initiatives include the use of whole body cooling -- as well as use of the infant's own cord blood -- to treat perinatal asphyxia.
