Eve joined our practice in 2011 after serving 4 years as a labor and delivery nurse at the Duke Birthing Center. Prior to joining the Birthing Center staff, Eve worked in the Duke Cardiothoracic ICU. She currently serves on the Duke Birthing Center Executive Council. Eve has expertise in high risk obstetrics and a special interest in preparing women for the emotional and spiritual changes that occur with motherhood. She is the mother of two beautiful twin girls who keep her busy and smiling.

Shannon joined the Duke Midwifery service in September 2011. Previously she worked in a community health center in Ft Myers, FL from 2005-2011. There she ran one of the largest Centering Pregnancy programs in the country. She currently serves as the midwife representative for Maestro Care. Shannon belongs to the Midwifery Business Network and is currently their Vice President. She is an active member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
