Michelle Mosberger received her BS in specialized studies with a health concentration and minor in fitness management from Edinboro University.
Continuing her education after eight years of personal training, she received her MS in exercise and wellness promotion from Slippery Rock University.
During graduate school, Michelle gained experience working with the Arthritis Foundation's People with Arthritis Can Exercise (PACE) program.
Following graduation in 2006, Michelle came to Duke full-time following her 16-week internship at the Duke Diet & Fitness Center (DFC), Duke's residential weight loss program.
Michelle worked at the DFC for three and a half years prior to joining the staff here at the Duke Health & Fitness Center. Michelle enjoys personal training and believes exercise is medicine and should be FUNctional.
Michelle believes every body is different and exercise needs to be tailored differently for each person. Fitness levels vary so much per individual, and Michelle enjoys helping folks achieve what they are individually capable of.
