Testing procedures for a Duke Executive Health Program
Comprehensive Health Assessment begin at 8 a.m. Most executives
arrive the day before their appointments. See Accommodation

Things to Bring
When you come to your appointment, please bring:
- Your insurance card, in case additional health studies
are needed
- A copy of your most recent physical examination
- If you are having a mammogram or outside consultations,
copies of your most recent studies and physician's notes
What to Wear
Dress comfortably. Athletic shoes and loose fitting clothing
(preferably a front-button shirt or blouse) are appropriate,
since you will undergo a treadmill exercise test.
Sample Schedule
The following schedule details a typical day for a patient
receiving a comprehensive health assessment. These times are
estimates only. Keep in mind that appointments requiring
additional tests or consultations may take 24 to 48 hours
longer.
- 8 a.m. Fasting blood work followed by a continental
breakfast
- 8:30 a.m. Comprehensive Health Assessment with
physician
- 9:30 a.m. Exercise Treadmill Test
- 10:30 a.m. Chest x-ray, body composition
- 11:30 a.m. Fitness assessment
- 12:30 p.m. Nutrition assessment
- 1:30 p.m. Stress management assessment
- 2:30 p.m. Exit interview with physician
- 3:30 p.m. Exit interview with patient financial
representative
- Additional testing is scheduled within the above
schedule, where time permits, or on additional days
