Why should I consider having these tests?
The vascular laboratory specializes in emerging techniques, designed to detect early signs of cardiovascular disease, which may not be detected otherwise. The results of these tests offer more information for your doctor to optimize your health management.

What tests do you recommend for me?
We will be happy to discuss your individual case with you and your physician, and make an appropriate recommendation for tests.

Is there any pain or discomfort associated with these tests?
Each of the four tests is non-invasive and involves no/minimal discomfort. The tests do require blood pressure measurements at various parts of your body. All procedures will be explained to you in detail and you have the right to refuse any part of the test.

Can I have all of the tests on the same day?
Yes. However, certain tests can only be performed in the morning. We will work with you to accommodate your individual scheduling needs.

How long will it take to get the test results?
The result of the ankle brachial blood pressure test is available immediately. The other three procedures require computer analysis that can require one to three business days to produce results. Your doctor will be notified of your results as soon as they are available.
