In addition to the Comprehensive Health Assessment, the Duke
Executive Health Program offers a variety of additional
diagnostic tests and procedures that can be purchased on an à
la carte basis.
Depending on your selections, you may need to extend your
stay. The program coordinator will work with you on
scheduling.
The program can provide access to Duke specialists for
in-depth review of these health concerns:
- Screening audiogram -- detects hearing
loss, screen current hearing levels and evaluate ringing of
the ears
- Screening eye exam at the Duke Eye
Center -- detects vision loss, glaucoma and other
diseases of the eye
- Screening colonoscopy -- recommended for
persons over the age of 50, or earlier if there is a family
history of colon cancer
- Calcium scoring computed tomography (CT)
-- a brief CT scan of the coronary arteries to detect
calcification, which may be associated with coronary or blood
level blockages
- Mammogram -- recommended yearly for
women over the age of 40 to detect breast cancer
- Pelvic and abdominal ultrasound --
screening for abnormalities of the liver, pancreas, spleen,
gall bladder, kidneys, uterus, and ovaries
- Duke Aesthetics Center -- cosmetic
plastic surgery, facials, dermabrasion, LASIK eye surgery,
Botox, and other cosmetic procedures. For more information,

providing exceptional care to men with prostate cancer, and
