Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots
- 2 Tbsp butter, unsalted
- ¼ cup water
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp orange juice
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground allspice
- ¼ tsp salt
Directions
Blanch the carrots in steamer. Then, shock
carrots in cold water. Place all ingredients in a medium
saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring
occasionally, until the carrots are tender and the sauce
becomes a shiny glaze (about 8 minutes). Remove from heat and
serve.
