One of Durham's oldest pediatric practices, Durham Pediatrics was established in 1930 and is now with Duke University Affiliated Physicians.

Durham Pediatrics specializes in providing comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents:

  • General pediatrics (to age 21)
  • Well-baby and well-child visits
  • Preventive medicine
  • Chronic care management
  • Nurse clinician/lactation consultant services
  • On-site laboratory services
  • Physicals for school, camp, and athletics

See Durham Pediatrics Patient Resources for information about how to receive medical advice or care for your child between appointments or after hours.

Board-Certified Physicians

Our staff includes seven board-certified pediatricians and one pediatric nurse practitioner who see patients at two locations in Durham:

  • Durham Pediatrics at North Duke Street
  • Durham Pediatrics at Highgate Drive

Some of our physicians have special interests and expertise in clinical areas including hematology, adolescents, dermatology, endocrinology, and asthma.

Our doctors, nurses, and staff are committed to working with you to maintain and improve your child’s health.

Should your child require specialized care from a pediatric specialist within the Duke University Health System, our referral coordinator can assist you with appointments and any necessary authorizations.
