Limb Loss - With the collaborative efforts of the limb loss nurse, physical therapist, and the certified prosthetist, we have developed the "Amputation Clinic" which focuses on lower extremity limb loss secondary to vascular disease. This is a multidisciplinary approach to the total care of the new amputee. This begins post-operatively and continues throughout the rest of the patient's course which will hopefully culminate with ambulation on a prosthetic limb.
